Dear Librarian,

I'm writing to ask for your assistance. I'm having a difficult time finding
a new book. The public library said that there are about 75 libraries that
carry it, but since it is so new, it is unlikely that it will be available
via interlibrary loan. The librarian I spoke with also suggested that,
since the book is published by an academic publisher, I may have better
luck finding it at an academic library.

Title: Washington's Dark Secret
Author: Maszka, John
Publisher: University of Nebraska Press
Release Date: October 1, 2018

Do you carry this book? If not, do you know if you plan to acquire a copy?

We do ot have this book.  However, I searced the TRLN consortium, and North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC has this book available.  If you are a student of any of the Triangle Research Network universities, you are privy to this book.  If not, this school is where you might acquire it through Interlibrary Loan if it is indeed available for that service.

I hope this helps.  Eric
